James Salter, P.E. -  James is the founder and CEO of The RainTree Group, a new energy and infrastructure consulting firm located in the USVI. He is also founder and Chairman of Atlantic Engineering Group, the preeminent American fiber optic design and build telecommunication firm. In early 2016, James sold AEG’s engineering division to Actavo.  He also founded Atlantic Fiber Networks and sold off the assets to begin The Raintree adventure. He currently resides in St. Croix, USVI and enjoys traveling, debating Jack vs Tiger as the GOAT, preparing to hike the unthinkable,  skiing groomed blue runs and losing in a wide range of fantasy sports.

Jason Galloway - Jason is the Chief Operating Officer of the The Raintree Group.  He has spent most of his working career in the telecom industry, running AEG's engineering company, working on several different ventures throughout his time there.  He was an instrumental piece in the sale of the engineering company as well as the networks that Atlantic owned.  He is a graduate of Georgia Tech and has a passion for golf, travel, business deals and mountain exploration.  Your best chances to catch him are at a Phish show or on the Georgia Tech campus during football season.  He currently resides in Denver, CO and hikes during the summers and skis during the winters.

Kara Hartman - Kara is the Chief of Staff for TRG. She is a medical provider turned energy industry operative. She graduated from Ohio State University with her masters in nursing. Prior to pursuing her medical training she worked with James at AEG in an executive administration role. With this new venture, he convinced her to leave medicine for the adventure of fuel trading.  Kara is by far the smartest of the 3 founders of TRG and spends most of her time keeping the others in check.  She loves the Pacific Northwest and will find any reason to travel that direction.
